Family Place is a resource center offering a comprehensive range of programs and services for children from conception to age six and their families. This continuum of support includes: child development and parenting programs; in-home visiting through the Best Start Program; prenatal & postnatal programs; breastfeeding support; lending libraries; as well as many other support services.

Family Place is also a registered charity funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada under the Community Action Program for Children and the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program.

To help families with children aged 0-6 help themselves (without duplicating existing services) by providing opportunities for them to learn and share, in a safe and supportive environment that is both welcoming and friendly.
